Heather Trudeau is an Assistant Professor and Director of Admissions for the UAMS Physician Assistant program. In addition to working at the PA program, Trudeau precepts students at the 12th Street Health and Wellness Center and sees patients two half-days per week at the UAMS Family Medicine Clinic on campus. She had over 10 years of experience working in family practice before moving to Arkansas in 2017 and enjoyed working with patients of all ages, with an emphasis on women’s health. Trudeau has a passion for nutrition, culinary medicine, and wellness. Before becoming a PA, she worked as a registered dietitian in both dialysis and inpatient medicine settings. She enjoys using her nutrition background when working with patients to improve their health. She also teaches a summer nutrition course for PA students.
