Tess Bentley is a self-proclaimed “nutrition nerd” and fitness enthusiast who found her professional home with the Culinary Medicine Team in 2022. Initially serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA, Tess became so deeply invested in the program’s mission that she stayed on as the Culinary Medicine Project Coordinator. She is a staunch advocate for the Food as Medicine movement, finding deep purpose in community outreach and the fight against food insecurity.
Tess holds degrees in Philosophy and Classical Dance from Radford University, and she is thrilled to have recently passed her exam to become a Certified Nutrition Coach. She loves blending her past experience as a health-focused copywriter with her new coaching credentials to foster healthier communities and help others achieve their wellness goals through sustainable, food-based change.
