Our dedicated team is a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving the lives of Arkansans through culinary medicine education and experiences. For our students, the curriculum infuses education and clinical experiences to enhance their knowledge and ability to counsel patients on nutritional recommendations targeted to their specific health needs. Through community outreach efforts, we will provide patient education and hands-on experience with healthy meal preparation with a focus on common chronic health conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, etc. Our goal is also to expand our core of healthcare professionals educated in culinary medicine through interprofessional and CME programing.
